General Info
The YMCA of Eastern Union County is a non-profit health and community service organization serving youth, adults and families. We provide a safe and caring environment, positive role models, fun activities and opportunities for people to grow in spirit, mind and body.
Founded in 1900, we are a member of the National Council of the YMCA of the USA and a certified United Way of Greater Union County agency. The YMCA is separately incorporated, locally controlled and governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.
Service Area
We serve nine Union County communities (Clark, Elizabeth, Hillside, Linden, Kenilworth, Rahway, Roselle, Roselle Park and Union) and three Middlesex communities (Avenel, Carteret and Colonia). We have a registered membership of nearly 16,000 and an annual operating budget of $10.4 million.
Facilities
The YMCA has three full facility branches in Elizabeth, Rahway and Union (Five Points), as well as, four preschool childcare centers and 25 school age child care sites in schools located in Elizabeth, Hillside, Kenilworth, Linden, Rahway and Union.

- Housing: Affordable, Emergency and Transitional with Social Services for Men and Families
